Differences between the values of QuickTime date tags

Hi !

Do you know why there are, most of the time, a few seconds differences between these video QuickTime tags:

- MediaCreateDate and MediaModifyDate
- TrackCreateDate and TrackModifyDate

Is it somewhat caused by the recording process or.... ? Also, could it be the trace of some manual re-encoding process? What seems curious to me is that in some videos, there are only 1 or 2 seconds difference between the value of the Create and Modify date tags but in others there are 11 and 27 seconds; way too long for any automatic process I guess.
