I haven't been able to get to this site for a few days. Is this a known issue and are others unable to access it too?

It's down for me as well.

This is not a good thing, as he's currently on vacation.  In the past when the site has gone down, he's had to go in and fiddle with things and sometimes it's a hardware issue.

You can still download a copy of exiftool from Sourceforge if needed and the various pages can probably be accessed through Google Cache (for example cache of the docs page) or the Wayback Machine.

The fact that the forums are up is lucky break.
* Did you read FAQ #3 and use the command listed there?
* Please use the Code button for exiftool code/output.

* Please include your OS, Exiftool version, and type of file you're processing (MP4, JPG, etc).

Yup.  owl is down.  Looking into it now...

Our sysadmin is on vacation and has apparently changed the root password without telling anyone before leaving, so it may be a while before we get the exiftool web site back up again. :(
