Hello Phil,

this sounds wonderful. Thanks in advance.

To support also date and time values for eventTime is not a problem.

BUT in case of time range, please do it for all -xmp-dwc tags - like eventTime, eventDate, modified, dateIdentified and maybe many others - or for none of them.

Best regards
herb

This change didn't make it into 12.08, but I'll try to get it in 12.09.

I will change EventTime, but I don't know about changing the other tags.  Do any of the others support a time range?  I'll have to look into this.

OK.  Other tags do support a time interval.  For now I won't add support for time intervals.

I'll use your technique of adding a dummy date if the date is missing, so time zones and fractional seconds will be supported in time-only values.

This update will appear in ExifTool 12.09
