Is it possible to store XMP in MKV files and if so where is the storage specifications.

I have not seen any indication of XMP being stored in MKV files.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
