Big news here in the Queen's University Physics Department:

Art McDonald has been awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering the solution to the solar neutrino problem using the SNO detector.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
