I would like to obtain the digital zoom ratio of images taken with the rear camera on the Samsung SM-G950U cell phone. Please see the attached sample image and corresponding exiftool output. I can't find any likely candidates there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try taking a few pictures at different, known values of digital zoom ratio and compare the output.
I don't know what the value is for the image you posted, so it isn't much help.

The two attached images were taken at digital zoom ratios of 1.5x and 6.1x, respectively, as indicated by their file names. The attached WORD document shows the corresponding exiftool outputs with the differences between them marked. Unfortunately I cannot see any differences that suggest a digital zoom ratio.
Yes. Unfortunately it looks like the digital zoom ratio is not stored in the metadata of these files.

I am also a new person on the block, but I don't believe there is much zoom in this picture.
I sited the angles using Google Earth and your GPS coordinates (nice spot) and based on that believe
that the FieldOfView (65+ degrees) tells you there likely no zoom in this lens, and would like to believe the 35mm-Like focal length of about 28mm is right.
I also have my own picture with nearly the same parameters taken from an apple 7.
of course, being new here, I would not mind being corrected.
