Hi All,
I am trying to analyze and extract information from a dashcam video. I have looked at a lot of related form questions that discussed how to extract the information using the exiftool. However, it seems that the video i am trying to analyze doesn't have the GPS information in the metadata like i expected (when i use the dashcam software it does pick up the telemetry's). I was hopping to get some advice. i have attached the link to the video.

excuse my lack of in-depth understanding i am new to this.
Thank you.
This MOV file contains timed GPS that isn't currently supported by ExifTool. I'll see about adding support for the next release if I can. I'll post back here if I have any questions. What make/model of dashcam made this file?

Hi Phil,
Thank you for the repose. I don't know the dashcam make I jest received the Video to analyze.
How do you recommend I can extract the timed GPS from the video.
I recommend waiting for the next version of ExifTool. With any luck I will be able to add support for this format.

I have been successful in decoding GPS from this video. ExifTool 12.14 will have this new feature.
