I'm sure it has been discussed before, but here's my feature request:  XMP writing for WebP images.

Adding WebP write support is currently #223 on my list of things to do.

I'm working on adding WebP write support to ExifTool 12.46.  See this post for more information (https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php?msg=75207).
