I would like to delete my account but since the solution (https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php?msg=62798) from StarGeek does not seem to work anymore I guess I have to go this way (https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php?msg=70593)?

It's still there for me. Though maybe the permissions got changed accidentally.
Click on your name in the upper left and then on Account Settings

Then click Actions->Delete this account

Deleted.
+1 I would like my account to be deleted as well, but I unfortunately don't see this option under Actions menu.
