Title: Web page that lists primary colors of a photo
Post by: StarGeek on July 17, 2023, 03:27:56 PM
I go to comic-conventions and take pictures of the various cosplayers.  In one of my cosplayer searches I came across YenraPhotography which shows the dominant colors of an image.  For example, this page (https://yenraphotography.com/anime-usa/2017/ausa2017-0162.html) shows these colors

While I can find some online sites which list the dominant colors in hex, though they don't seem to list the color names.  And of course I would prefer something local. I'm still digging through some ImageMagick commands, so maybe I can find something there.

But in the meantime, does anyone else know of a way to do this?

I've used X11 colour names (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X11_color_names), but some of these are different.

The X11 colour names should be widely accepted under Unix platforms.
