I've been editing some posts when I see them to block out automatic links to Photos.app. There may be others that I will do so if I notice them.
The reason is because malicious people are buying up domain names that get autolinked to deliver phishing attemps, malware, and viruses. The main targets at the moment are the new .zip and .mov domains, but I noticed that Photos.app currently is taken but no site there at the moment.
While the BBCode to prevent auto-processing doesn't have a button, it can be used with NoBBC, e.g. [nobbc]Photos.app[/nobbc]

Interesting, thanks. I didn't know about this. I'll keep an eye on links like this too.

I found that I can just turn off the forum auto-link feature, so I have done that.

It appears to be a trade off as it also prevents auto linking legitimate links

True. I always use the [url=...] for my links, but we'll see how much that affects other posts.
