I have an IFTTT (If This, Then That) alert set up that alerts me to mentions of exiftool on Reddit. I thought I was getting false positives until I finally noticed something. IFTTT does OCR on images in a post.
For example, this post (https://reddit.com/r/shutterencoder/comments/1aq1s8m/cant_encode_more_than_one_file_in_a_process/) doesn't seem to mention exiftool at all, until you look at the image. Exiftool is only mentioned in the upper right of the image, not at all in the output listing.
Just something that I found interesting and amusing.
That's pretty impressive actually.
