Hi, fellows!

Could I access old versions for Windows?

You can copy the links from the main page and simply edit the numbers to get an older version, though that is valid for only a few previous releases.

GitHub (https://github.com/exiftool/exiftool/tags) as copies of the Perl script going back to version 9.71 (https://github.com/exiftool/exiftool/releases/tag/9.71). You would need Perl installed if you are on Windows to use them.

All versions used to be available here until someone started pounding the server, downloading older versions over and over. I think they may still be here but hidden to avoid that from happening

Hi Cesar

There are security vulnerabilities that have been fixed in the more recent versions.  You should use the newer versions if possible.

Thank you for answer, Mr. Phil.

I'm asking for old versions because the 13th (last edition) is not working for me.

Attached is an example of a photo with coordinates and an image of the tool's behavior in PowerShell.

I humbly ask for help where I am going wrong.

Gratitude,

Cesar

It doesn't matter what version of exiftool you use, there is still no GPS data in the file. It is only printed on the image itself.

New versions of exiftool are not going to lose the ability to read metadata.

The image appears to be a screenshot from Google Maps or related app. Screenshots will pretty much never have any metadata such as GPS.
