I'm using a Hasselblad X2D 100C camera with the latest X Extension Tube 9mm
Is there some way to extract the extension info? I can't see it in a full output of the exif data
Attached screenshot from Hasselblad Phocus app as an example

Hi Patrick,
Can you send me an original Hasselblad image so I can take a look? My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com

Big files ... went to Mail Drop ... average raw file is 213Mb
edit : in any event that was the wrong image. sorry. I've loaded a relevant £FR and FFF file to dropBox and you should get the invite message directly.
thank you
I got the files and should be able to take a look at this tomorrow.

Hi Patrick,
I didn't get very far. I can't see any metadata that obviously gives the value you are seeing of 8 mm for the "Extension" metadata, so I tried to reverse engineer this using the Phocus app. However, the newest version of Phocus I was able to run on my system was 3.6.4, and it shows and "Extension" value of "3 mm" for the files you sent. If this had displayed the correct value I could have edited the metadata in the file until I found where the Extension was stored, but tragically my plan seems to have been thwarted by an incompatibility between the X2D 100C and this older version of Phocus.

Interesting, because the screenshot of Ohocus shows 9mm which is the extension tube I used, and was from the files I uploaded.
Thanks for looking.
By the way, a new version of Phocus was released today... 3.8.5 for the Mac. I was using 3.8.4
I'm on MacOS 10.14, so I can't use the recent versions of Phocus until I get enough saved up for a new system. :P

understood. When I look at the files in Phocus, it shows the 9mm execution tube. Affinity Photo does not. As for the OS, my old 2017 iMac isn't supported so I just got a new one. What's annoying is now Microsoft are going to stop support for windows 10 in a couple of months ... grrr
Having said that, that iMac was on OS Ventura and the version of the Phocus app 3.8.4 DID show the extension tube.
