Title: Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 s
Post by: Storhaug on November 23, 2010, 05:48:15 PM
-LensType reports:

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 s

On the Olympus website, the lens is decribed without the trailing ' s'

Indeed, the mapping in Olympus.pm does not contain the ' s' either.
Does the ' s' mean something?
Where does it come from?

I have no idea where the 's' is coming from.  My guess is that something funny is happening at your end because I have a number of sample images from this lens and they all report correctly for me.

If you include a sample image and your exact command line perhaps I can figure this out.

Oh no, the 's' indeed came from a wrapper-script.
I am sorry for stealing some of your brain-cycles.
