Title: How does one "create" a segment called "Ducky" in a JPEG?
Post by: Gary on September 11, 2011, 08:14:25 PM
I have a JPEG that was turned out by Aperture on a Mac. I have EXIFTOOLS v8.63
I need to add a segment called "Ducky" and a tag within that segment called "Comment".
The "Comment" tag needs to contain a simple English sentence.

Here is an example of the noted segment from EXIFTOOLS run on a similar JPEG from Photoshop.

[Ducky]     Comment     : Sorry, but there isn't another image here. However, here's a hint: XXJUNMMIX.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try

exiftool '-ducky:comment=This is a ducky comment' filename
