Title: What is the XMP-aas group?
Post by: jimo on August 27, 2012, 02:55:05 PM
I think it's related to Apple and the iPad, but a Google search turns up nothing. It seems to be an adjunct to XMP-crs in that it contains crop and tone curve data.

thanks, jim

Hi Jim,

This one is new to me.  Looks like some iPhone app is using a new XMP namespace to store some image editing information.  If I could see the raw XMP ("exiftool -xmp -b FILE") then I could say more.

I did some googling and found a sample.  The full namespace is "http://ns.apple.com/adjustment-settings/1.0/", so it looks like an app from Apple did this.
