Are there compatibility issues writing v1.4 DNGs or am I doing something wrong? (v1.3 DNGs - no problem)

For example:

exiftool -DateTimeDigitized=.. my.dng -- works on 1.3 DNGs, not 1.4 DNGs.

?

Edit: No need to send me a sample if this is the message you get:

Error: [minor] DNG Version 1.4.0.0 not yet supported

Just add the -m option to ignore this error for now. I will fix this in the next release. Thanks for pointing this out.

UPDATE: Actually, I was getting "\r\n" as the response, i.e. just a blank line, no error message, but no confirmation either, *but* I added the -m option and it worked! - thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)

Hi Rob,

I got your sample and it gives the message I mentioned at the command line. With ExifTool 9.25 you won't need to use the -m option on these files.
