I'm fairly comfortable using ExifToolGUI v3.38 or v4.27 to do things like strip camera metadata from my images before adding only project specific metadata using other image management tools. I also use it to batch restore colour profiles to images that have had that info stripped, or to batch change mis-tagged images with their correct profile. Another chore has been to batch modify images with x Resolution and y resolution of 72ppi to 300ppi which many clients prefer.
I've tried using the latest ExifToolGUI v 5.15 to do the same but cannot find how to easily modify these values except by using 'Exiftool direct'. The v3.38 and v4.27 'Edit' area with small chevrons under EXIF, IPTC, and XMP that allowed extensive modification of the metadata is gone in v5.15. I've read through the online "manual" (perhaps too quickly) and the section regarding 'Modify' features seems limited to Exif DateTime and LensInfo tags.
Have all those extended GUI modification abilities been removed from v5.15? Or are they hiding somewhere in front of my nose??
Thanks,
Russell
