Hi,
for the makernotes:AFpointsselected on a K-3 the numbers are quite easy to memorize.
The value in the makernotes reflects the AF point if you number them from top to bottom left to right, so:
00 01 02 03 04 05 00
00 06 07 08 09 10 00
11 12 13 14 15 16 17
00 18 19 20 21 22 00
00 23 24 25 26 27 00
14 is the center AF spot.
While I dont understand the logic behind it I can at least report which "AF points in focus" got reported when certain AF points were selected:
14 --> 0x2000
08 --> 0x80
03 --> "Left"
20 --> 0x8000
25 --> 0x1000000
15 --> 0x4000
16 --> 0x8000
17 --> 0x10000
Maybe you can see a rule in there.
Thanks for this!
But I don't understand:

2 points give the same value?

I have seen that too, but yes, this is in the pictures. It could be that inactive AF points get reported here as well.
