Title: Total beginner

I'm totally new to this but I was suggested to come here for help. I've been a photographer for many years and only recently I've been asked to supply images with additional information in the metadata. I need to add more info, eg. copyright name to many images. Will your application work for me. I'm using Windows 7 64BIt with Photoshop CS6. Where can I download the program.

Hi Richard,

exiftool will certainly be able to do what you want (download it from Phil's website (http://www.exiftool.org/)). If all you need to do is add e.g., a copyright, exiftool may be a bit overpowering though (it is a command-line application) and you may be better off using e.g., Bridge (part of the Photoshop CS6 suite) for your task. Bridge is perfectly capable of editing the metadata of (multiple) files and is probably all you need.

Hope this helps,
Hayo
