Title: Hyperfocal distance calculation?
Post by: Beholder3 on September 21, 2015, 01:09:57 PM
How do you calculate hyperfocal distance on Pentax cameras?

There is a composite tag of that name, but as far as I know Pentax DSLRs only rpovide up to 7 qualitative subject distance settings.

HyperfocalDistance does not require a distance measurement.  See the Composite tags documentation (https://exiftool.org/TagNames/Composite.html) for a list of required tags.

I have a good HyperFocal Distance document on my
website: GUI2-for-Exiftool.weebly.com

It is approx 40 pages with settings for APS-C and Full Frame for a Range of Lenses
My GUI2 program also in Vu menu  can get your Images "Circle of Confusion".

Hope this helps

Kind regards
Andy
