Hi Phil,
I have huge problem with my NEF files from D7200. The files were downloaded from camera with Nikon Transfer 1... :-\ so there is no way to open it in Lightroom, while original files were permanently deleted. What's more, when I open these images in ViewNX-i there is only 1620x1080 image size available. :o
Average file size is about 27 MB so I hope that the original information is all there and your fix_corrupted_nef utility could help, but I've found it doesn't support D7200 yet.
Can you help me with that?
These photos are my marriage photos... :'(
Does the D7200 write uncompressed NEF images? If not, I may have enough samples here already to add support for the D7200, provided that you were shooting full DX-sized images.

Edit: Could you send me a corrupted sample for testing? My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com
As ViewNX-i states it was "Loseless Compressed RAW (12-bit)".
I've just send you a corrupted image.
Hi Antony,
I got the sample, thanks.
I have just updated the fix_corrupted_nef utility (https://exiftool.org/fix_corrupted_nef.html) to support the D7200.
Can you select the bit depth with the 7200? You said 12-bit, but it only works if I assume 14-bit when fixing this image.

It works! My photos are saved! ;D
Thank you so much!
And you're right - it only works with 14 bit depth.
Probably it's another bug of Nikon software concerning metadata.
Great! Glad you have your wedding pictures back again. :)
