Hi all, the CR2 files from my camera are broken or corrupt, i couldn't open or repair them. File sizes are 25-30mb. I wetransfered two of them to give you an idea :) https://we.tl/RWKfds5nZ5 Are there any chance to fix them? Can you help me? Thank you for your time, every thing that can be rescued will be helpful.

I'll look at them when I can, but in the mean time, try running this command on a few of them (using the latest version of ExifTool):

exiftool -validate -warning -a FILE

I had a look at the files and while they contain data, there does not seem to be any image data contained in them. Only IMG_1891.CR2 contained a tiny 160x120 image (attached) that I was able to extract with Phil's extract_preview (https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php/topic,4172.msg19805.html#msg19805) script.

Hopefully you have a backup from which you can restore the files because they do seem beyond repair.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you need help with the extract preview script?
