Title: Panasonic Makernotes 0x0055
Post by: Klaus_Homeister on July 22, 2018, 10:47:08 AM
Hi Phil,

This one needs more testing of someone else with such lenses.
I have only a few samplefiles from internet where this Tag gets different values than default '1'.
But it looks like that this Tag represent the state of Lens-switches.
A 'Leica Elmarit 200mm 2.8' can get a '3' or a default '1' here.
And 'Leica Nocticron 42mm 1.2' can get a '2' or a default '1' here.

All other (>2000) files here have a default '1' .

And if this tag is set to something >1 then it triggers the complete Block 0x3700-0x3709 of Camera-IFD.
especially Tag 0x3703 looks like related to the use of a TC

Hi Phil,

unbelievable ... 2000 images from 70 different persons and cams ... and only three are taken with flash _AND_ a Leica 200mm + TC.
It's not LensSwitch it is FlashSetup:

1=OFF
2=ON
3=Auto

doesn't matter if slowsync is set or not.
