Hello there,

I am using the sony a7r iii camera and really love the viewfinder of it. I like to use it for viewing my older images through viewfinder, but when I transfer it, the file becomes 'unable to display'

Can I change the jpeg(jiffy I guess) to exif by 'exiftool' and make all images (nikon or downloaded from web) compatible for viewing through camera?

Unfortunately, Sony stores the preview images in the MPF trailer, and ExifTool doesn't yet have the ability to write MPF information.

thanks for your reply. its a shame that we can not use this 'basic' feature. I guess there isn't any way to preview images from viewfinder?
