Hi!
I'm trying to work with files on Windows 10, and I get this minor warning for my jpg files (orf are fine).
Files are from my Olympus E-M10 Mk II, SOOC.
This is the warning:

Warning: [minor] Skipped unknown 232 bytes after JPEG SOS segment - inputfiles/10EM5850.JPG

C:\exiftest>
I can find no reference to this warning using google and the files seem fine.
Anything I should worry about?
Attaching the jpeg file if you want to test something on it.
Interesting. Editing data in the file doesn't produce that result, as I set and cleared XMP, EXIF, and IPTC data. Only when copying to the FileModifyDate did I get that error.
I also used Irfanview's Lossless Jpeg Transformation on it to optimize the Huffman tables, which will losslessly reduce the file size and the response was changed to "Skipped unknown 12 bytes after JPEG SOS segment"
I don't think it's anything to worry about, though someone better at this might take a look at the actual location in the file to see what it might be. My guess it's just a bug in the camera that writes some extra garbage writes into the file at the end of the image data. I doubt it's anything to worry about.
I'll take a look at this when I get a chance. Probably Monday.

The file is fine. This warning message is erroneous, and does not affect the processing at all.
This will be fixed in ExifTool 12.36.
Thanks for this report.

Great!
Thanks for looking into it!
