Sounds like a reasonable suggestion... It wasn't too difficult to add, except that listing tags by specific IFD would be difficult so I don't allow this.  But you can list by any other group.

I was hoping to use the group names with the tags, to differentiate between tags that can be in different groups. So I use the listing by group option and automatically prefic tags in the group with the group name.

I'm sorry, that's my fault.  The comment is a special case since it really doesn't fit
into any of the ExifTool groups.  For the user interface I have lumped it in with the File group,
but internally it actually exists in its own special group.  I thought I had made use of the
File group consistent in the interface, but I had missed this.

Thanks for pointing it out.  The problem will be fixed in release 5.99, and I have made a
5.99 pre-release
available for you to use until it is released officially.

There shouldn't be any problems like this with the other groups.
