Exiftool has a few minor issues with some fields in EOS 30D raw (.cr2) files:

(1) imagewidth and -height are wrong:

Code:
$ exiftool -imagewidth -imageheight -exifimagewidth -exifimagelength
-canonimagewidth -canonimageheight -canonimagesize sample.cr2
Image Width                     : 1728
Image Height                    : 1152
Exif Image Width                : 3504
Exif Image Length               : 2336
Canon Image Width               : 3504
Canon Image Height              : 2336
Canon Image Size                : Unknown (-1)

The first two are wrong (3504x2336 is right).

(2) shuttercount values are off by multiple of 16 and some unknown baseline
(value shown increments by 16 every shot, and began at a high value).

1) There are multiple images in a CR2 file.  The 1728x1152 is the TIFF standard image.  The Canon image is the full-sized image stored in RAW format.

2) Which version are you using?  I just made an update (6.30) to fix the 30D shutterCount (now called FileNumber). Try it out.
