Title: Full Path In Output file

I want to use ExifTool to extract all the EXIF information from my Canon SLR. I had attempted to create a text file containing the EXIF information of all my files using an earlier version of Exiftool.

My friend developed a VB applet that scans through the file and pivots the row based EXIF information into columns, so that I can use a database to sort the EXIF data.

When I run ExifTool earlier, the first line of the output text file contained the following:

======== d:\photos\rawima~1/IMG_0001.jpg

My friend used '========' in his loop to separate one picture's EXIF from the next.

I cannot remember the option I had used which creates this first line.

Can anyone help me out?

Sorry for the long winded post and TIA...

Sashi

When multiple files are processed, the output from each file is
preceded by the "=====" line by default.  Use the command line
redirection to write the output to a single file.  ie)

Code:
exiftool -r DIR > out.txt

The -q option suppresses the "=====" line, but
by default it is included in the output.
