I'm attempting to rename and move some MOV files created with my digital camera.  This command in a .CMD (.BAT) file generates the following error for each file:

Code:
exiftool "-Directory<FileModifyDate" -d "C:\Folder\%%Y%%m%%d" "C:\Folder\SubFolder\*.mov"
Warning: Error creating 'C:/Folder1/YYYYMMDD/C:\Folder2\Folder3\YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.mov'

Essentially I'd like the files:

Code:
C:\Import Folder\P0001111.MOV
Renamed and moved to

Code:
C:\My Pictures\YYYYMMDD\YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.MOV
based on the file modified time.

Any assistance would be great.

This should work.  Perhaps there is a problem with the backslashes,
although I haven't seen this before.  Try using forward slashes instead:

Code:
exiftool "-Directory<FileModifyDate" -d C:/Folder/%%Y%%m%%d -ext mov C:/Folder/SubFolder
