Hi

I am trying to extract the field Camera Model Name. It exists and has a value in my files.

But whatever syntax I use it always returns empty

I've tried

Code:
exiftool -f -'Camera Model Name' -FocalLength DSC_3002_Galianos.jpg >new.txt
Code:
exiftool -f -Camera Model Name -FocalLength DSC_3002_Galianos.jpg >new.txt
Code:
exiftool -f -CameraModelName -FocalLength DSC_3002_Galianos.jpg >new.txt

Removing the spaces works for extracting Focal Length, so why not for Camera Model Name?

TIA

thank you!

for the record I ran

Code:
exiftool -a -G1 -s file.jpg  >all_tags.txt

I also discovered the tag "FocalLength35ef" in my Canon and Nikon files.

As an aside I found that if the filename has a
Code:
'&'
in it, you need to put ' ' round the filename.

Thanks!
