Hi,
Probably not possible, but I'll ask anyway...
Is it possible to show all Makernotes unknown tags (and it's values) only? Meaning, known tags are not displayed.
Why I ask is, that when "examining", by using (for example):
exiftool -U -s -Makernotes:all photo.jpg
-it is disturbing when known tags are mixed with unknown ones...
Thanks for answering
Bogdan
PS: Just arised... Exif:Copyright tag can contain two lines, which must be separated by NULL (0) character. Any idea, how to insert NULL into (windows) command line?

If you have a 'grep' utility, you can filter out most of the known
tags by piping through "grep 0x", but exiftool doesn't have this
feature on its own.
Exiftool accepts the two EXIF:Copyright two fields separated by a
newline, which can be inserted using various techniques discussed
here in the past. The newline is converted to a null internally.
If you need help with the newline, let me know and I'll look
up the post for you.

Thanks for fast response
...and thanks for "grep" tip -just discovered I have it installed with Delphi (pascal). Now I must figure out it's usability :-)
About NULL... searching in this forum is somehow limited (I almost never get a hit). Anyway, if I understand correctly: If I put newline (CR+LF) somewhere into Copyright string, exiftool will automatically translate this into NULL character. I'll try this...

copies of all the posts so I can use my mail search.
Here
is the thread I was thinking about.

It works as "advertised"... thanks a lot.
Reading link you provided, I could recall I saw that "somewhere" :-) Now I'll put a notice into my "private examples".
Greetings,
