How can I tell if I have installed the BSDSDK package from the Xcode Developer Tools--I have Xcode 3.1 installed on my system but I don't remember installing the BSDSDK package. I want to install the Unix version of exiftool on my Mac (10.5.6 2.66 GHz dual core intel).

Follow the Unix installation procedure. If it works,
then you have the necessary developer tools.
It is likely that you are good to go.
