Title: iptc:sub-location string length vs xmp-iptccore:location string length

I've been having issues with text being truncated to 32 characters in the xmp-iptccore:location tag.

Now, I am aware that 32 characters is the string length for the iptc:sub-location tag, and is indicated as much on the IPTC tag description page ("[0,32]"); but the xmp-iptccore does not indicate any maximum string length. Is there a 32 character limit on the xmp-iptccore:location tag as well?

There is no limit on any of the XMP tag lengths.  If you are
experiencing this trouble with exiftool, it is because you
are somehow either confusing XMP with IPTC, or copying
the value through an IPTC tag.
