Title: Feature request: user defined parameters
Post by: geewee on November 16, 2010, 02:00:18 PM
Hi and thanks for your handy piece of software!

I would really love to be able to store often used parameters for ExifTool direct.

For example, after having cropped my photos (with JPEGCrops), the Exif/IPTC data get screwed. Only remedy is to run "-all= -tagsfromfile @ -all:all -unsafe" TWICE in order to have things fixed. If I could save those parameters and apply them with a single click... that'll be perfect.

Cheers

Thx

Other than the PreviewImage which isn't copied in the first call, I can't see why you would need to do this twice.  Is this the reason?

Hi geewee,

What to say... somehow forgot about this. I'll try to figure something out. Thank you for reminding me.
