Title: Exiftool closes window panel when dropping files onto it
Post by: exwul on December 17, 2011, 01:40:42 AM

Newbie-question..:
Installed latest Windows version of Exiftool.
Renamed exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe, copied the file to C:\Windows and created a desktop link.
(C:\Windows\exiftool.exe)

When I drag and drop any .jpg file on it, it will open a command line window, something flashes by and the window is
closed again.

How to avoid Exiftool from quiting ?

TIA

Change the Target of the desktop shortcut to C:\Windows\exiftool.exe -k

Ah !

Thank you so much...

I just discovered, I should not have done the step 3 and 4 of the 'install manual', ahum.. :-[

Thanks again.
