While we are getting used to the new v5 will it be possible to run it and v4 on the same computer?

Hi,

Yes, both GUI versions can run at the same time. Actually, if renamed, both version can be in the same directory as well, because new GUI uses new (filename) ini file.
I expect to make new GUI availble in next 24 hours...
