Title: Pentax K-01 and Pentax 40XS lens data
Post by: Beholder3 on March 24, 2012, 03:03:39 PM
Hi,

maybe you want to have a look at the new Pentax K-01 metadata.
Here are some DNGs shot with it:
ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/sonderhefte/K-01/ISO-Reihe%20c%27t%20Testszene/RAW/

ExifTool Version Number         : 8.84

From what I can see the new Pentax K-01 body  is:
Pentax Model ID                 : Unknown (0x12ef8)

And the new 40 mm F2.8 XS lens is:
Lens Type                       : Unknown (0 45136)
Lens Type                       : Unknown (7 213)
I don't understand why there are 2 values...

Some other stuff also seems not to be interpreted correctly:
Exposure Bracket Step Size      : Unknown (32)
Bracket Shot Number             : Unknown (0x8)
Shadow Compensation             : Unknown (2 4)
Dynamic Range Expansion         : Unknown (0 2 0 0)
Multiple Exposure Set           : Unknown (0x3)
Camera Orientation              : Unknown (0xfe)

Yes, thanks.  I found some K-01 samples a few days ago.  The LensInfo and some other metadata has changed structure.  The next release will fix this.
