Hi,
I just worked on renaming files under Windows 7 64bit, exiftoolGUI 5.14, exiftool 8.98.
There I selected a single JPG file with complete out of Cam metadata.
I then entered the following command into the exiftool direct window:
"-filename<focal length $focallength taken with aperture $aperture.%e"This item I saved as new command set.
The following three types of error now occur:
- exiftoolGUI seems to try to grab hidden system files (such as desktop.ini), too. And produces Warning messages, even though I did not display the ini file nor select it. It seems it want to give the ini file the same name.
- exiftoolGUI display an Access violation error
- The whole command only works under windows if put into double quotes. Even though I do save the command set correctly, after I close exiftoolGUI and reload it, it seems to have kicked out the leading/trailing double quotes and therefore keeps a nonworking command set.
For bullets 1 und 2 see attached screenshot.
Any hints how I can get away from these warnings/errors?
