Hi

I recently noticed that exiftool converts newlines (
) to dots in the standard output.

Is there a way to change dots to spaces?

There is no way to change the newlines to spaces (aside from creating a user-defined tag to do this), but there are various ways to handle the newlines. See FAQ number 21 (https://exiftool.org/faq.html#Q21) for details.
