I'm trying to add some basic IPTC tags to scanned photos (caption, date, location, keywords). When I highlight a file and then click on the Iptc button at the top of the screen in the ExifToolGUI program, I only see two entries "ExifTool executed" and "No data".
The only way I've been able to see any Iptc tags in ExiftoolsGUI is to create them in Windows Pro Photo Tools and then open that file in ExifToolGUI.
Is it not possible to create Iptc data fields in ExiftoolsGUI or am I doing something wrong?
Add editing is done in the Workspace tab. Read the ExifToolGUI documentation for details.
