Hello,

-listx ist a great feature, but produces a very large XML-output, because of the various languages.
Would it be possible to specify only the language / languages someone is interested in
with the -lang option ?
If the specified language is not available for a specific item, 'en' is used as the default language.

Hi Phil,

The response from the exiftool would be faster (xml-output is 9.3 MByte now, with -s only 1.6 MByte) .
So I assume, a size of 3-4 MByte would be possible (50%).
And also parsing (e.g. XPath) of the resulting xml-output
would be significantly faster in the calling application.

Hi Erwin,

I will implement this in ExifTool 9.63. The XML output reduces from 9.3 MB to 5.2 MB when a single language is selected.
