Title: Invalid VignettingCorr data in PowerShot S120
Post by: rkratsch on June 14, 2014, 11:55:51 AM
Hi,

all CR2s taken from a PowerShot S120 contain the warning "Invalid VignettingCorr data".

ExifTool Version Number: 9.63
Warning: Invalid VignettingCorr data
Camera Model Name: Canon PowerShot S120

After developing the JPG with Lightroom the warning is gone, developing with DXO preserves the warning. Is the warning coming from ExifTool - what is its cause?

Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for pointing this out.  Canon keeps changing these structures, and it is hard to keep up...

This should be fixed in ExifTool 9.64, which I have just released.

Hi Phil.

I can confirm the warning is gone with 9.64.

Many thanks
