Hi,
I hope this is the appropriate forum for this question.
I am working on a project for which I will need curate a large number of photos and videos from various digital cameras, and extract certain information from the metadata. I have a good amount of test content. Unfortunately, the content I have does not represent a very wide base of camera makers and models.
Photo/Camera review sites often post sample images (and even some video) from the cameras they review. (imaging-resource.com even shows the Exif data using Phil's ExifTool). However, many times the photos on these sites have been edited, which can change the Exif tags. And in every sample I have found, GPS data is removed (or disabled on the camera).
This makes these photos much less useful to me to understand what tags are written by the various cameras/devices.
Does anyone have an idea where I can find a repository of images and videos which I can use a source content?
I maintain a publicly available metadata repository (https://exiftool.org/sample_images.html) of JPEG images from all camera models which I have tested it that helps. The images are not original, but the metadata is.
