Big news here in the Queen's University Physics Department:
Art McDonald has been awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics (http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/physics/laureates/2015/) for discovering the solution to the solar neutrino problem using the SNO detector (http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/).
