Hi people.
I am using exiftool under Linux.
ExifTool Version Number : 9.46
I have these metada in the last lines of a mp4 video file.
Where can I analyze their meaning ?
Does it mean, that the file has been modified online or downloaded of youtube?
Google Start Time : 0
Google Track Duration : 63738
Google Source Data : BD46ADD66HH1353189070694226
Google Ping URL :
Google Ping Message :
Google Host Header : o-o---preferred---sn-w511uxa-h5qe---v11---lscache4.c.youtube.com
I have a few videos I downloaded from Youtube using youtube-dl and they also have these lines. Start duration is obvious, track duration appears to be time in milliseconds. Source Data and Host Header are probably some id/tracking info. I couldn't fine any additional info with some quick google searches.
thks for reply , StarGeek
I think the same.
But it´s rare, I have been looking for these tags and I haven´t found any info. :-\
I suppose this way, that the file have been modified ...
happy xmas day
Can someone send me a sample? (phili at owl.phy.queensu.ca) I would like to add support for these tags so the duration is converted to a more user-friendly value.

For me, it's common. It appears in all the vids I downloaded from Youtube. It might be the youtube-dl program adds the data, though I haven't tested downloading some other way yet.

PM'd you a dropbox link.
I found I still had an old youtube download extension installed and tested that. The same data appeared in the file, so it seems that it's added by Youtube. Also, the save box dialog that popped up for this had the same domain as the source of the vid as was in the "Google Host Header".
thks for help.
I cannot send this video because it´s a personal legal case, I am looking for another similar.
I got the sample from StarGeek, thanks. I'll add a proper conversion for the GoogleTrackDuration tag.

thks for help !
ummmmhhh !!! one question about google tags
could be these tags like inappropriate content ? this way google could check what users are downloaded this video. in this case, I am not speaking about adult content, o terrorism. I am speaking about politic videos.
