Title: Writing back Exif data
Post by: Jürgen Evert on July 04, 2016, 03:22:55 PM
Hi,
at first, excuse my bad English, I hope you understand, what I want to say.
I have a Problem with Lightroom 5.7. When I write back the Metadata with lightroom most of the Exifdata are lost.
So I found this program.
It works very well but ...
When I choose a original RAW-file to write back the Exifdata allway comes a sound and an infodialog, it's frustrating.
In the final Dialog (execute) would it be good to read the choosen filename to veryfie the right.
It would be good that the the program could go the the last Position, there, where are my original files in.

No error, only information dialog. But if you must click this hundred times ... it is annoying...

Hi jürgen,

Ah, so you mean you have to confirm the change in each and every file individually in the GUI. In this case, I think your best solution would be to switch to the command line version of exiftool...

If you can explain what you want to do, I'm sure we should be able to help you get the right exiftool commands :)
