Title: [Help] My Nef file D90 Nikon corrupted when transfer to PC

Hi all, I am newbie here,
I have a problem with my RAW file.
I took a lot of photos and videos with my D90
When my SD card out of space, I transfer it to an USB, and take new photo
Unfortunately, 80% in my USB is corrupted, it have no metadata.
With me, all that photo and videos is priceless, it is my first trip ever to another country...
I took my best photos ever
Hope you guys can help me, may be just JPG review .
I really need the photo I took Penang's twilight with long exposure

Unfortunately the file you uploaded contains nothing but binary zeros.  There is no useful data in this file. :(

Hi nhn0304,

I'm sorry to hear about your issue...Maybe you ought need to check the following

1: please check if your SD media is original not fake ones

2: Never format on a PC\MAC, always format from the camera.

3: Always use appropriate software for pure digital binary transfer, never use copy & paste or drag or drop.

I'd recommend the opposite.  "Appropriate" software often does not just copy the file.  And I would think  Phil would have something to say about Nikon Transfer if you asked him.

I agree with Alan.  Avoid NikonTransfer at all costs.
