Latest ExiftoolGUI hangs on About

As far as I know, I have the latest ExiftoolGUI installed at:
E:\Downloads\Graphics\ExifTool\exiftoolgui516\exiftoolgui
When I open the app and click on Program -> About it hangs
Task manager says it is not active and it seems I need to close it from Task manager
I have deleted the INI file, but it makes no difference. It is simply recreated.
As it can create the INI file, I assumed the location was not write protected and checking from the file explorer confirms that

As mentioned in the Sticky Post in this sub-forum, the ExifToolGUI is no longer supported by its author. 

You might try hvdwolf's new Java based GUI.

Got it, but I have problems following the instructions for the Java version. They are way above my head
Belay that, I did find the installer for Windows & now have it running.
